The Department of OBGYN is proud of the world class research our faculty perform. Our research spans basic science to clinical trials. Ongoing studies range from testing new therapies in gynecologic cancers to understanding mechanisms involved in carrying a healthy pregnancy. 

We are working every day to lead the way in research to make women’s lives healthier. Our faculty actively collaborate with researchers across the University of Iowa and with institutions nationwide. Together, we’re working to make meaningful, lasting impacts on women’s health.
