A Message from our Program Director
The fellowship program in gynecologic oncology at the University of Iowa has two main objectives. The first to educate and train subspecialists in gynecologic oncology who can provide comprehensive, evidence-based and compassionate care to patients with gynecologic cancer. There is a strong emphasis in our program on the development of superior surgical skills. The second objective is to train fellows in life-long learning by providing a solid foundation in clinical and laboratory research in gynecologic oncology for their future careers. Our fellowship program often provides our graduates with secure positions at major academic centers.
Iowa City is a great place to live. The University of Iowa attracts people from throughout the country and world to study and as a result provides many unique educational and cultural opportunities.
