The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at University of Iowa Health Care offers comprehensive training in gynecologic cancer management. Graduates often secure positions at major academic centers.

The hospital participates in the National Cancer Institute's SEER Program and is home to Iowa's only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The University of Iowa is a founding member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group and actively engages in NRG protocols. The fellowship program collaborates closely with Medical Oncology, Surgery, Urology, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Palliative Care departments.
The three-year ACGME-accredited fellowship includes clinical care, education and conferences, program accreditation, and research opportunities.
