A Message from our Program Director

Thank you for visiting our website for the University of Iowa Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship. The fellowship was established in 2013 by Dr. Catherine Bradley and has been continuously accredited ever since. Our goal is to train fellows both clinically and academically, so they are prepared to pursue successful careers in urogynecology. 

We anticipate that graduates of our program will be competent in the depth and breadth of urogynecology, and able to effectively provide consultation and care in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Graduates will be well equipped to enter academic or private practice, achieve subspecialty board certification, and advance the healthcare of women in Iowa, the nation and the world by:

• delivering excellent clinical care,
• pursuing scientific research, and
• providing leadership in their communities, and regional, national and international organizations.
